The Alachua Astronomy Club hosts and participates in a limited number of outreach events each year. These events are arranged for schools, scouts, churches, and other community organizations.
We enjoy sharing the sky with others and look forward to a possible collaboration with your group, school, or club!
Please request at least one month ahead of time. If requested later than that, it may not be possible to support the event.

AAC Volunteer Information
Security Protocol - Due to new school security protocols, all school event volunteers must be approved by the AAC's School Liaison or the School Volunteer Program Specialist with at least 2 weeks advanced notice of an event (you need only be approved once). Approved volunteers must then register for each school event with at least 24 hours notice. If you are uncertain if you can attend, please register anyway, and then advise the school liaison accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.
