International Observe the Moon Night 2018

Tonight is a GO.  Predicting intermittent cloud cover at 7 pm and mostly clear by 8 pm.

AAC is partnering with Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park to host 2018 International Observe the Moon Night.  Event will be held in the main park located at 100 Savannah Blvd., Micanopy, FL. 

Volunteers needed with and without telescopes. 

Set up will starts at  5 pm.  Sunset is at 6:54 pm.  Moon will be a 12 day waxing gibbous with 86% illumination.

Set up will be in parking lot by Lake Wauberg boat ramp.  Route to event will  be marked with signage and you can ask at the gate for directions.
