Good News- The ATM’s are back!
This event is for AAC members only.
Join us for the second in a new series of ATM(Amatuer Telescope Making) workshops.
This session will be Saturday, June 24 from 1-4 pm at the Newberry Star Park.
We will hold the meeting in the general classroom at the Easton Center. It’s easy to find- just go into the main entrance and the room is on the right. I think everyone will find the indoor classroom much cooler and more comfortable.
In response to feedback from the inaugural session, we have 2 topics scheduled based on feedback from attendees.
Agenda
1-2pm Eyepiece Selection
2-4pm Setup and Repair Session
Important notice regarding the setup and repair session-
This session is in response to individuals who stated they needed assistance with their scope. Our goal is to get you up and running(and observing) as soon as possible. When you register, please add some additional information in the comments-
Your scope brand and model (i.e. Celestron 8 inch SCT)
The issue you need help with (i.e. won’t focus, dead mount, etc.)
This will be a targeted session- we will not be doing any mirror cleaning or SCT repair. These topics will be covered in the September session.
