Since last week was canceled, let's try tonight.
We may get a chance to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). Also possibly a comet in the evening sky.
There will be other observers on the field so please be mindful of our Star Party ettiquette, especially arriving and leaving the field.
AAC has organized a dark sky star party at one of the darkest skies on the east coast. The moon will be out til 1:55 am, so not so dark until it sets.
Sunset is 7:04 pm. Moon is at 63% and sets Saturday at 1:55 am.
Arrive at least one hour before sunset for setup and to get familiar with the observing field before dark.
