Susan Milbrath, emeritus curator of Latin American Art and Archaeology, at the Florida Museumof Natural History and an affiliate faculty member of the School of Art and Art History at theUniversity of Florida, has authored over 100 publications.
Her Star Gods of the Maya: Astronomyin Art, Folklore, and Calendars has remained in print for over 25 years. And her most recent books include Decoding the Codex Borgia: Visual Symbols of Time and Space in Ancient Mexico (2024) and Birds and Beasts of Ancient Mesoamerica: Animal Symbolism in the Postclassic Period (2023, edited with Elizabeth Baquedano).
